Good Afternoon Resident

The team wanted to share the good news stories that have occurred in the local area over the last week, following the work the team has been doing. This is the work that the teams of Beckenham Town and Copers Cope, Clock House, Kelsey and Eden Park and Shortlands and Park Langley have been a part of.  

This week the teams have been working alongside the met volunteers around the Beckenham and Clock House wards, delivering Met Engage leaflets and engaging with the community. This has been a great opportunity to get members of the community involved with some of the work we are doing. The Shortlands and Kelsey wards will be completed next week.

Cuckooing Visits have been conducted alongside housing associations, to look after some of the vulnerable residents. Cuckooing is when criminals take over someone's home to use it as a base for crime. 

Open spaces patrols have been conducted around the green spaces across the 4 wards, the teams have been monitoring these for anti-social behaviour, on these occasions nothing has been witnessed by the teams. Public Space Protection Order signs have been put up across some of the green spaces in Beckenham, please can everyone ensure they are adhering to these.
